I’ve always known that I like art. That much was certain. Writing though, wasn’t something I thought about until recently.
My 8th grade English teacher seemed to genuinely enjoy my work. My dad was always impressed by what I wrote for school (though that might just be him being a dad). My current English teacher once joked, “I’ll have to make a special worksheet to teach you how to move from formal writing to informal.” I even received a Gold Award in The Queen’s Commonwealth Essay Writing Competition.
But more important than any of that, I realized writing is a skill I have, but one I haven’t fully explored or harnessed yet. I want to improve and use it. And that’s where the idea of starting a blog came from.
There were other reasons too. Blogging felt like a great extracurricular. It gave me an outlet to deep-dive into topics such as art, books, shows, movies (especially anime), school, and whatever else sparks my curiosity. I’ve always admired people who research for fun and I love the way the Theory channels (Game theory, etc) analyse games, movies, etc. That kind of thing excites me.
So this blog is my space to do exactly that: write, explore and analyse.
I’m not exactly sure what I’ll be writing about, but for now you can expect blogs about my life, art, shows & movies, books and more. I have blogs about sandbox games, codes & ciphers and funny quotes up on this website right now and I’ll be publishing one about what makes Demon Slayer so special.
If any of that interests you, stay tuned!
But hey—that’s just a theory…
A game theory.
Thanks for reading.
